BPS offers a comprehensive range of high-resolution biostratigraphic services. Investigations in palynology, calcareous nannoplankton and foraminifera allow age determination and assessment of depositional palaeoenvironment in sedimentary basins. This data also allows sequence stratigraphy, wellsite biostratigraphy and high-resolution biostratigraphy. The resulting regional studies are a significant tool in the petroleum system approach. This service provides important information, such as age and depositional palaeoenvironment, to be used in basin modeling and sequence stratigraphy studies.
