Petroleum System Assessment of Brazilian Offshore Basins
Multiclient studies available for the upcoming Bidding Rounds
The Petroleum System Geo-charts of the Brazilian Offshore Basins is a compilation of various offshore basins. The “atlas” of each basin is a reference on the hydrocarbon source potential and exploration risk assessment. The assembled charts are aimed to combine the elements and processes of a petroleum system investigation approach using seismic, high resolution geochemistry, 2D and 3D modeling results from PetroMod software.
The documents not only address source rock kitchens, oil families, reservoir ages but also the generation, migration and accumulation of oil and gas based on many years of combined experience and knowledge of the Brazilian Offshore Basins.
We are proud to offer this exciting extensive study to geoscientists and managers. This document includes more than 2000 digital copies of figures with maps, seismic images, schematic sections, 2D and 3D modeling results, logs, cross plots and much much more. More than 500 oils and >450 rock wells were used in the study to cover 14 offshore basins which are the most prolific frontiers of exploration in Brazil.
The Petroleum System Summary Charts include the offshore Pelotas, Santos, Campos, Espírito Santo, Cumuruxatiba, Jequitinhonha, Camamu-Almada, Sergipe-Alagoas, Pernambuco-Paraíba, Potiguar, Ceará, Barreirinhas, Pará-Maranhão and Foz do Amazonas basins.
